The service does not automatically collect any information, apart from information included in cookie files.
Cookies are digital data, text files in particular, stored on the end device of the Service User and applied so that the user is able to use the Service’s webpages. Usually, cookies contain the name of the website where they originate from, information on the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.
The entity placing cookie files on the end device of the Service User and gaining access to them is the operator of Komunikacja Plus’s Service.
Cookie files are used for the following purposes:
a) adjustment of the Service’s webpages to the User’s preferences and optimisation of user experience when viewing webpages; in particular, these files make it possible to recognise the Service User’s device and properly display the website, tuned to the User’s individual needs;
b) creation of statistics which help understand how the Service Users use webpages, which enables improvement of their structure and content;
c) retaining the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to enter their login and password on each subpage;
The Service applies two types of cookie files: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until they log out, leave the website or close the software (Internet browser). “Permanent” cookie files are stored on the User’s end device for a time determined in cookie files’ parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
The Service applies the following types of cookie files:
a) “indispensable” cookie files applied to perform services requiring authorisation within the Service;
b) cookie files applied for security, e.g. used to detect abuse in the area of authorisation within the Service;
c) “efficiency” cookie files making it possible to collect information about the way the Service’s webpages are used;
d) “functional” cookie files making it possible to “remember” settings selected by the User and personalise the User interface e.g. in relation to the User’s language or region, character size, appearance of the website, etc.;
e) “advertising” cookie files making it possible to deliver advertising content to the User that is adjusted to their interests.
In many cases, software for browsing websites allows storage of cookie files on the User’s end device as a default option. The Service’s Users may at any time change cookie files’ settings. These settings may be changed in particular in a manner allowing blockage of automatic cookie file support in the web browser’s setting or provision of information about their placement on the Service User’s device each time it happens. Detailed information about the possibilities and methods of cookie file support is available in the software’s (web browser’s) settings.
The Service’s Operator informs that limitations to the use of cookie files may impact some of the functionalities available on the Service’s webpages.
Cookie files placed in the Service User’s end device may also be applied by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service’s operator.
More information about cookie files is available on http://wszystkoociasteczkach.pl/ or in the “Help” section of the web browser’s menu.
